Solid Brass Security Door Guard

Baldwin's security door guard allows the door to be opened up to four inches while maintaining security. This solid brass security door guard hinges into a strike mounted on the door, eliminating scratching normally caused by conventional chain door fasteners. When not in use, the hinged door guard is positioned 180 degrees away from the door.

STRIKE PLATE: 1.187" x 1.187" (30 x 30mm)
STRIKE LENGTH: 3.062" (78mm)
FEATURES: Allows door to be opened up to 4" while maintaining security.

Great Purchase Just what we needed!!! I purchased the swing bar to stop my 2 & 3 yr olds from getting out. It works like a charm. It arrived very quickly, was a breeze to install and matches the other hardware perfectly, so it doesn't look like an after thought. color mis-match I ordered a number of door accessories in oil rubbed bronze. They all vary a bit in color, but most are close. This product is the exception. Compared to the others it basically looks black and does not match at all. The quality is otherwise good. July 15, 2010

great products, no directions The product is of great quality, very strong and good looking. My only complaint is that it came with no directions, so it took us a little while to figure out the exact location to install (harder than you would think - it must be precise or does not work and/or scratches the door).
