If attached to door bottom how many inches will it keep door from wall. Thanks.

A. Thank you for your question. The Baldwin 4045 has a 3" projection from the wall and is meant to be attached to the baseboard of the wall. If you attach it to the baseboard near where the door would usually hit the wall it will hold the door away from the wall 3".
