Baldwin 85345.2ENT Landon Style Two Point Single Cylinder Handleset with Egg Interior Knob

Greet your guests in style with this classically styled entrance set. The single cylinder deadbolt locks and unlocks from the inside with a turn-button, and from the outside with a key.

  • Two Point Means there are two points of locking on the mechanism. There is one deadbolt on the same plate as the handle and another deadbolt above the handle.
  • Both Deadbolts are Single Cylinder
  • Made of solid forged brass for maximum strength and durability.
  • Latch is constructed for exceptional durability and smooth operation. They are reversible to accommodate all door conditions.
  • All latches are supplied standard with a full lip strike.
  • Deadbolt and latch bolt are constructed of solid brass for strength and security!
  • Concealed mounting system means that there are no fasteners visible to accumulate dirt and debris.

Beautiful Purchase I had always wanted this product but wasn't sure I should spend the money. Now that I have I couldn't be more pleased. I love the fact that it will never change color or turn ugly like most of the inexpensive sets do. One piece of advice...make sure when you have someone install a product like this that they know what they are doing. My installer had a hard time and took way toooooo long and left out of pieces but not ones that really matter. I had to tell his boss I was not paying for 6 hrs. of labor to install this handleset...we agreed on a more reasonable price. November 18, 2010
Saved $200 We just painted our house and needed to replace our handset. Unfortunately, we had this odd E-lock setup that you can't get at your local home depot or hardware store. One set i found at a local locksmith was $500! This set did the trick and our painter installed it in about 20 minutes. August 27, 2009

What is the difference between the satin nickel and the lifetime satin nickel?

A. The Baldwin 85345.2ENT lifetime satin nickel has an extra coat on it that protects the finish. It also has a lifetime warranty from Baldwin. The regular satin nickel will not have this coat and does not have the warranty.

When exiting home, does the bottom lock have to be locked from outside with key? or can it be locked from inside thumbturn prior to exiting?

A. The Baldwin 85345.2ENT can be locked from the inside with thumb turn, then shut, leaving the bottom latch locked.

I want to have to manually unlock bottom lock by thumbturn before using/turning inside doorknob to exit, does the bottom lock work that way?

A. The Baldwin 85345.2ENT does have the turn button on the bottom knob and the thumb turn on the upper deadbolt on the interior side. Those can be used independent of each other or both may be locked.

Can this lock be key to an existing Schlage key code? Will it be an extra cost?

A. Yes, Baldwin and Schlage use the same keyway and can be keyed alike. There is no extra charge for keying.
