Beware These spring hinges are effective. The hole pattern is what I need to replace existing hinges with and is not common. Two hinges are required to be truly effective. Beware: the hex hole is easily stripped by the Allen wrench. Hold it squarely, securely, and proceed with caution. August 30, 2011

I am looking for hinges that will close the door after everyone,we have a hard time keeping the door closed. Do these type hinges have a way we can keep the door open if we want to?

I am looking for the corresponding non-spring loaded hinge that could be used with two of these (i.e. 2 spring loaded and 1 non-spring loaded in antique brass). Can you point me to the correct model?

A. The equivalent model to the Deltana DSH4R5 that is not spring-loaded is the Deltana S44R5.
