Excellent Quality and Color I could not find a selection of these locally in San Diego. The stores only carry the "bargain basics", gold plated small ones. Handlesets.com has a great selection and prices are competitive. I love this mail slot - the color and quality excellent and easy to install. Shipping was a bit slow but I still recommend this product to you...maybe they can improve shipping time for you :-) July 29, 2011

Can this be used on an aluminum door? Is it difficult to install? My aunt can no longer go outside to get her mail, I'm looking for a mail slot to install on her aluminum outside door, are there any other products you may recommend? thank you

A. The Deltana MS211 is as easy as anything will be to install, but every mail slot is going to require cutting a hole in the door for the mail to go through, which is not the easiest on a metal door.
