Not quite a straight flush... This is an attractive pull and looks pretty much as in the image. The term "flush" is a little misleading - I figured the flange would stick out a little (1/16" maybe?), but it is thicker than it appears. The flange is a solid 1/8-3/16" thick. I had previously installed the trim around the pocket door according to the door manufacturers clearances. When this showed up, I had to pull the trim and open a little more clearance so the pull didn't hit the trim passing through. Not a huge deal, and I'm still very happy with the part - it's solid, attractive, and nicely manufactured. But, I would recommend waiting to install your trim till you get the pull - or leave a little extra clearance... April 20, 2011

A. Typically, you will want the pull as close to the edge as is feasible to allow yourself the most amount of access to the pull, but there isn't a specific requirement for placement.

A. The Omnia 653.OM can be installed on both sides of a pocket door if the pocket door can accommodate the installation of both.
