What is the required or recommended width of the cabinet for installation of this item? Many thanks.

A. The Rev-A-Shelf RAS-ML-HD recommends a 6" support panel behind cabinet for installation. However you supply your own wood shelf so the width is up to you., the only requirement is it has a 60lb weight limit.

Can the Rev-a-shelf mixer lift be installed in a cabinet with a drawer?

A. The Rev-A-Shelf Mixer lifter allows 4-3/8 inch clearance space at from its lowest point of the lift to the bottom of the cabinet, on a standard 36" tall finished cabinet. You can use a drawer in the same cabinet as the mixer as long as it doesn't interfere with the swing of the arm.

What is the width of the shelf that the appliance sits on?

A. The Rev-A-Shelf RAS-ML-HD Mixer lifter uses a customer/cabinet maker supplied shelf, the only requirements is that the shelf be thicker than 3/4 inch and a minimum of 20-1/2 inches long.
