Excellent for use with home studio
I purchased this lock for use with my home studio restroom. I wanted to keep the restroom door closed as a gaping door with a toilet in plain view for my customers to see is not at all professional, but keeping the door closed made people think the restroom was unavailable. This lock allows the discreet closure of the door without confusion to my clients, and, to quote my husband, gives the room a more institutional feel. Easy to install and nice finish.
** We did have to grind off part of the actual deadbolt as the square ones tend to catch against the plate.

Fun Deadbolt for my half bath
I put this deadbolt in my half bath by my bar where i had a urinal installed. it fit perfect and the novelty of the occupied/vacant display is hilarious and i get lots of comments. easy to install if you have done any kind construction or drywall before.

The durability does depend on the weather conditions. It should do well in moderate conditions. It is best to not use the bronze finishes outdoors because the color will change more quickly over time. Will the emergency key unlock and lock the deadbolt?In the picture above the bolt is shown locking to the left. Can it also be used on doors that need a lock on the right side?The photo does not show the thumbturn lever on the toilet room side. I am looking for an ADA lever that will not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist to operate. Will this product meet these requirements?Technical Specs
