The Smuso AD is an air/friction damper with integrated closing unit, and is invisibly integrated in the running track. The sliding wood door is braked by the soft-close mechanism and pulled into a closing position by a spring mechanism. It is to be suspended in the running gear with a track stopper on either end. With a single sided (1 piece) the door must be at least 30" wide, and with double sided (order 2 pieces) the door must be at least 44" wide and the maximum door weight is 176 lbs. (80 kg). The air/friction damper ensures no loss of liquid, such as oil, cannot be destroyed even at excess pressure as the friction adjusts to the pressure.
